The Writer’s Journey by Vogler

This is a book that also looks at the hero's journey, and how it can help writers. It might prove useful to people using the Lifewriting program.

Mike, I believe that Vogler is coming out with an expanded Revised edition this year.

The revised edition is actually already out, but for personal reasons I wanted to read the version I read when I was a kid.

As to wanting to read a particular version, well, if there is extra meaning you take from it, then I understand sticking by it. I have not actually gone through Vogler, and I learned about the new version when I was in the bookstore looking for a copy. They didn't stock it, and listed this new edition coming out later this year. I will probably pick it up, to go along with my collection of Joseph Campbell.

Vogler is a good guy--his book is quite useful.
