I'm looking to start a weekly get-together, either on the phone or in person, with some fellow writers in Portland, Oregon. You should be familiar with the Lifewriting program and committed to writing a story a week, or at most every other week, and sending that story out for publication.
I firmly believe that if I write a story a week for the next 52 weeks, and send it out, that I will be a published author before I turn 30, and that is a goal I much desire.
In order to reach that goal I need strong honest committed allies. In return I can offer to be a strong honest and committed ally to you.
Who's out there?

Mike-- if you don't find anyone in Portland, you might be able to take advantage of Cyber-space and create an online writing group. Feel free to use this board to create such a thing if you wish!

There are some on-line groups already: www.critters.org/ and rec.arts.sf.composition. Both are for sf, though, and I don't know if that's what you're writing.
