I watched your 5MM tape at a friends house this past weekend. I found it very interesting and the bonus information maybe life changing. I had never considered goals for my family life. I now have to get my own copy so I can follow along and make sure I get the breathing and the 5T's right
My question is about sleep. It takes forever for me to wake up in the morning possibly because I am a very lite sleeper. I never feel like doing anything in the first hour or so after waking up. I have been like this for all of my adult life. I keep myself in good physical condition ( even started using Clubbells ) and do a bunch of fighting in the SCA so it is not that I am not tired.
I really want to be able to wake up and do things like the 5T's. Is there any part of 5MM breathing or anything else that you know of that can help with this?
Thanks, Seth

LIGHT exercise before bed can help release residual muscle tension, allowing sleep. Performing perhaps 5-10 repetitions of the Tibetans or a little yoga can help. For the physically active, this is no small consideration: our bodies store stress! Meditation, on the chakras, or following the heartbeat, can also be dynamite for "ramping down" from an active day. This is an excellent question! Getting a good night's sleep is essential for a high-energy, creative lifestyle. Hot showers, hot tubs, massage and relaxing music can help as well. And never underestimate the sleep-inducing properties of good sex!

Coach Barnes, Thanks for the advice! I will try the 5T's or meditating pre bedtime for a few weeks and see if it helps. >>And never underestimate the sleep-inducing properties of good sex!<< Yup! For some reason my girlfriend doesn't seem to like that great side effect as much as I do Seth Baton Rouge, La. P.S. On your JediTraining page you mention SCA fighters. You ever try it or have you just heard about us silly fools that hit each other with sticks

Tried it a bit, liked it but never got into it. Have lots of friends who love it!

I fight in the SCA and swing Clubbells, I am doing the 5T before bed, it helps me slow way down..... I also love the Warior Wellness tapes as my functional balance has increased by 28% according to my Physical Thearpist.
It is all a matter of time, and something every day... as a female fighter I have had some of my shots not hard enough... not an issue at this point...
good luck... and may the force be with you.

Just an update. The 5T's are not working well for me before bed. It seems since I started that I always wake up after about an hours sleep. Wierd. I will shift to 20 min. of meditation before bed instead and see where I go then. I do have to find a new time to do the 5T's however. It is strange but I miss them and the breathing when I don't do it. Victoria, What Kingdom are you in? Seth Baton Rouge, La. www.sethhowardknives.comP.S. I believe in the 5T's and 5MM so much I ordered the tapes for my Mom this weekend. I am not sure this is a higher recommendation than that!
