For quite a few years I have had a story idea that I believe would be an hilarious comedy. I've been trying to learn the accepted formatting for scriptwriting in the hopes of bringing it to life (on page). But I am discouraged to have read, on at least two different sites, that it is all but impossible for someone outside of Hollywood to see their work really considered for a potential movie. That it boils down to who, in the entertainment industry, one knows. Also, that if you're (zzzz) years old, like me, you may as well hang it up. That only the young pups with pumped up penning fingers will get their chance - provided they know someone, or someone who knows someone. Any truth to that? Stephen?
