Hi Steven and everyone,
I have a a few questions about market research for short stories:
When you did the story a week program, did you use the Lawrence Block method of studying every single issue you could and summarize the stories. Or did you just get a feel for the magazine and go with your gut.
What would you recommend? I would tend to get a feel for the magazine and try to write in the same 'flavor' as the magazine. I'm very right brained, but I can be analytical when neccessasy.
