Hey Steve, I would like to know more about this Golden Hour you keep refering to. I know you've said that it is about having that one hour in the moring for just yourself but can you set that time aside for yourself in the evening?

Of course you can set time aside in the evening. But the idea is also to take advantage of "setting a tone for the day" by utilizing that very first hour after you wake up. Start with 5 minutes, take additional time at night. it is a DYNAMITE idea to 'bracket" your dream time, meditating, doing yoga or tai Chi or Be Breathed morning and night. This is a sophisticated approach, one in which you are programming yoru nervous system, not just working your body.
But my strong reccomendation remains about the morning. Steve

Thanks Steve. I already get up about 30 mins earlier(4:30AM) to do 5MM and Warrior wellness. WHen I get to work at 7:00 am I workout with the clubbells for about an hour. I do note a difference when I sleep late and miss a Warrior Wellness session before my workout. I seem less energized. I guess a little walk on the treadmill before work wouldn't hurt none would it?
I'm always amazed at the amount of work the guys at RMAX are doing. I'm always asking my self," When do these guys have time to cspend time with family and do chores?" ;D
Maybe I'll go ask them!

OK Steve, I got up one hour earlier to start my Golden Hour! Got the 5MM and some Warrior Wellness and some treadmill work in this morning. On Tuesday's and Thursday's I'm going to try my hand at some beginner yoga I have on DVD instead of the treadmill. One thing, what do you listen to? There is a lot of paid programming on at 4:00am. Got some good music suggestions?+

Here's what I'd suggest. Go to the local library, and check out their supply of books on tape. Choose a subject that fascinates you, but you haven't had enough time to delve into . Listen to 1/2 hour of the tape per day, during the morning Golden Hour. Let this be your warm-up time. The last half hour you should be pulling your consciousness more deeply into your body, strengthening that connection and heading into a meditative state as you stretch or run or do Clubbells or body-flow or Kettlebells or whatever else you're doing. The idea is to craft a morning that is VERY specific to your goals and needs in life, slowly, one step at a time, taking control. This is NOT about depriving your family of your time and energy--if anything, it is about freeing up time and energy so that you can be more "present" to family or job. ### so: 1st 1/2 hour: Tibetans (or yoga), some basic fitness or sports practise work, LISTEN TO TAPE. Work the "be Breathed" style breathing into whatever physical discipline you have chosen.
2nd 1/2 hour. Deepen your physical practise. You may listen to music as you do--but nothing that requires too much attention.
During Day: Five Minute Miracle at every hour divisible by "3", for at least 60 seconds. Work your Be Breathed technique.
Night: "Bed Yoga"--simple stretches and twists in bed, relieving tension and preparing for sleep.
