Hi Steve
Got a problem - hope you have some solutions that may help me.
Am onto week 11 since i started lifewriting. I am working on the Write a Story Every Week model - and I'm actually near the end of story 12! So I'm really pleased about that, that side of things is progressing nicely.
However - and here's the problem - I haven't yet submitted anything to paying markets. I've tried to work out why, my primary guess is fear of rejection. What i now need to work out is a strategy to overcome this - any ideas or thoughts you have that may help would be greatly welcomed!
Regards
paul

Paul--you are definitely dealing with fear of rejection. One way to deal with it is to forget publishing--your new goal is to collect rejection slips. You wil paper your office with them. They are the feedback you need to improve your work. Another possible approach is to have a friend or partner send the stories out for you. The best approach is to examine the fear directly, understanding that your subconscious is just trying to protect you from pain. In your meditations, examine this closely, and begin to make contact with the part of you that feels the fear...and the part of you trying to protect you. Begin a dialogue with your own mind during meditations, and allow your deeper self to present an answer to you.
